Everyone likes a visit to the seaside, some like the hustle and bustle of the big resorts, while others like the peace and quiet of our many miles of wild coast.  We like the movement and the sound of the waves, and we also like the movement of our birds as they go along the beach minding their own business.  All have their distinctive calls which can be heard above the waves and make a visit such an enjoyable experience.

If you sit quietly by the sea, and provided you are in a reasonable location, there is a good chance that sooner or later you will see some good birds.
